Casa Enza is a charming old apartment. Good space and welcoming terrace. The location is really good, as you are close to the beach and the small, cozy town of Porlezza. Great stay, we would love to come again ;-).

It all starts with the people and the owners of this vacation rental are very friendly. We were met at the gate at reception time and there were cakes and drinks ready in the kitchen. We said goodbye with a plant as a reminder of a fantastic week. Lake Lugano and the center of Porlezza are just a few minutes walk away with all the Italian atmosphere (and therefore also some noise). On the balcony of the apartment, however, this is no longer noticeable and there is a beautiful view of the mountains.

We stayed in the upstairs apartment with a nice balcony and a large bedroom, a simple kitchen with sufficient equipment (no dishwasher), the children's bedroom is simple and could do with updating. The living room was the worst place in the house, it's very dark and needs to be renovated. (We used the living room as little as possible.) The owners of the house are a very sweet, very friendly older couple. The house was spotlessly clean and we had a very pleasant stay in the very welcoming and pretty town of Porlezza with great restaurants and ice cream parlors and the lake within walking distance.

It was a wonderful stay on the 1st floor of this house. Warm welcome from the owners with a bottle of drink and homemade cake. Everything is within walking distance, the lake, the supermarket, wonderfully central. The furnishings are typical Italian and this gives the accommodation its charm. Everything is there but obviously it's not modern, it didn't bother us. The house was spotlessly clean which added to the wonderful stay. Porlezza is also centrally located, just about 12 km from Mennaggio (boat trip on Lake Como).
